Hi all, My son has just bought this car on a 58 plate and it has developed the following issue: When flooring the accelerator to overtake the supercharger phase is good then the turbo charger takes over, but after 2/3 seconds the turbo gauge drops to half and the power decreases (but still accelerates but not as quickly) you feel a slight jolt as the turbo seems to drop out (no EMU light comes).

Even Twincharger 1.4 TSI 150ps like in the Seat Ibiza FR have no real fundamental faults with components. Esos son justamente los sintomas que tiene el coche, ademas al poco tiempo de arrancarlo empieza a ratear. estuve aqui.. Cadena que se estira + tensor defectuoso. Arreglarlo en el 1.4 por prevencion no tiene mucho futuro, puesto que los recambios son identicos.

Received a phone call this morning saying that they had found the problem and its an issue with the ECU, new ECU is needed at the cost of £1200 and a wait of anywhere between 2 days and 2 months.
