Ihad massive issues with Ubisoft Connect on my Steam Deck, trying to get it to run natively and also manually via Desktop Mode install for the past two weeks. Nothing really worked, I always got stuck on the launcher screen right after "initializing" and then got the pop up: "Ubisoft Connect - Connection lost - A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable.

Makesure your uplay client is updated. I just installed a ubisoft game via steam, registered on uplay and received this message when trying to register the cd key. I was not surprised. The thing that worked for me was to just close uplay and press the PLAY button again on steam. It did a massive update and even changed the look and feel.

Hi there, I just bought the game on steam in the sale and when I launch it, it loads the uplay Makesure your uplay client is updated. I just installed a ubisoft game via steam, registered on uplay and received this message when trying to register the cd key. Ijust installed the Game today, and I made a Uplay account, and waited to get the game started. However, every time I open the game, Uplay does a connecting loop and I can't play the game. I don't know If I am supposed to enter a CD Key or Activation code, because I bought the game via Steam.
