I believe the 60 litre tank capacity is an option on X290 vans, to allow MH converters to retain a similar payload allowance as was previously available before the addition of an adblue tank. I think the conversion to the 90 litre capacity involved modification to a plastic tube that encloses the tank float, possible accessed via the lift pump
Just out by 4 mths and only 16K miles. Dealer said "ah yes there is a 'service news' memo about this problem". They have now fitted me a new tank/outflow pipe and a new adblue cap! Thats the issue, the caps get blocked creating a vacuum in the tank which collapses internally damaging sensors in it etc and maybe causing the pipe to break as mine

Got the "Adblue low, requires topping up" warning message. I've previously had this done at a service but one not due for 3 months so I thought I'd do it myself. Went to Halfords and got 10 litres of Adblue and added the lot to the Adblue tank in the boot but the warning has not cleared. The manual says that the tank capacity is 25.5 litres.

Today i went for first oil change 7500km and they overfilled my adblue again without asking and made another big mess!! They insist that's the way to fill it up, untill it's full!! Just topped the adblue up after 1000 miles (Fiat Ducato 160bhp 2.3) the 1000 miles was 80% (UK) motorways and 20% local A/B roads. The Fiat has a 19liter adblue tank and the top up took c.2.5 litres. So to the math: Caveat we all drive different and differing roads to consider; plus, we are a GlobeCar 3.5t (vs. A class, etc other models)
